Dear GMU and KEC,

As a recipient of the  “Master of Divinity,” Scholarship, I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to you for making this opportunity possible. I am deeply appreciative of your support.

I’m a senior student now. Through these years with your generosity and help, I had a chance to learn more and more about god and his kingdom. How he works. How he never leave us alone. I couldn’t be so close to God and in peace with him if you didn’t help me. we went through a lot this semester. I think you heard about the Iran situation. All people in Iran are in protest and lots of youths and kids are killed by the Islamic government. It’s a very difficult and miserable situation. It’s too hard to live there now and we really appreciate God getting us out of there. Here the situation is hard, too because here is an Islamic country, and were also refugees here and Christians. Since 6 months ago Turkey is going through an early election and they are so against the refugees, especially Christians. We’re praying that God opens a door for us to have a chance to leave here and be in a free country to have a chance to evangelize and serve God better. To access to more opportunities to share Gospel. also my husband was sick for 5 months and we were praying a lot. God answered our prayers and did an amazing miracle and he is healthy. Praise the lord. through having a church planting course we heard God’s voice to start a home church and it give us so many blessings. although we lost our job serving afghan kids because of opening a home church we feel god in our hearts and we are sure he has a plan for us and our lives.

Thank you for this opportunity and I am very blessed to be awarded the scholarship. I promise to God and you to do my best and study and learn every day to be qualified for spreading Gospel to unreached nations.

Sincerely,

Ghazal Amini
