Dear all the supporters,

‘“I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I have been saved from my enemies.”

Psalms 18:1-3.

I’d love to give my appreciation for your financial and prayer support through 2020-2021 because of your kindness, I could concentrate on my education. I got this opportunity to study about Jesus Christ, the King of Kings.

My Name is Peyman Nemati. I am an Iranian Refugee who lives in Athens, Greece. I was born in Tehran. Almost 3 years ago I escaped from Iran because of the political problems as a journalist I worked in Iran. Now I work as an interpreter for the church in Athens. Almost two and half years ago I became a Christian. I believe that Jesus shows the miracles in my life since then. The pastor of the church I was interpreting asked me, “Do you want to study Jesus?” So I prayed about it for one week and asked God to lead me what I should do. After one week I said to the pastor “Yes.” So he introduced me dear brother Fred Shin. I send a message to him and applied to Grace Mission University via SNS. I was accepted and financially have been supported since then.

I want to thank all the supporters shown kindness last year. In the last two semesters, I learn a lot of things such as how to share the Gospel and speak about Jesus with other Muslims in the Christian Apologetics & Islam course. In the Christian Ethics, for this course, I read one book with almost 500 pages. I never had read such long pages book. The name of the book was called “Moral Choices: An Introduction to Ethics Book” by Scott Rae. I learned about different points of view about our moral choice based on the Bible.

My favorite course was “the Gospels.” In this amazing course, professor Dr. Brian Trott gives us a very valuable piece of information about the Book of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. I had the Church History and Cross-Cultural Anthropology with Dr. Esther Park. In Church History, I learn about different topics, characters, and the early church as well. In Cross-Cultural Anthropology, I learn about different cultures in the world. The best spiritual course I had was the Ministry Formation with Dear Fred Shin. We studied together every Monday. He taught me the power and the secret of Jesus’ love and that helped me stand firm privately in God.

When I’m thinking about my plan after graduation or looking forward to the upcoming months, the first thing that comes to my thought starting a home church, similar to the earlier church in Acts 2:42-47. Sharing meals, caring for the others, worshipping, and prayer together. Like a fellowship of the believers, “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”

Acts 2:42-47

Thank you for your generous support “the Koinonia Education Center.” “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.”

2 Corinthians 13:14
