Dear GMU and KEC,
As a recipient of the “Master of Divinity” Scholarship, I wanted to thank you for awarding me this scholarship. I feel blessed and lucky that once again GMU and KEC is giving me another opportunity to pursue another semester of Divinity studies thus I am appreciative of your support of my education.
I am currently residing in a humanitarian city in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, with my family as refugees. For us, life is like a prison here due to movement restrictions, but we feel that our faith is increasing day by day, and that the Lord has a plan for us and our children. I intend to complete the courses that the faculty has assigned to me.
Thank you once again for investing in students like me and our education. You have allowed me to focus on the most important component of school, learning, by offering me the “Divinity” Scholarship. I hope that one day, just as you have helped me, I will be able to assist our less fortunate sisters and brothers in achieving their ambitions.
