For the very first time, I heard the name of God, in Persian term ‘Khoda’, or ‘Khodawand’ from my family when I was a child. Then when I was going to school, I learned more about God. There are taught at least one Islamic subject besides other subjects every educational term at every school and university. This is mandatory to be taught. Because I am from an Islamic background, I knew God as a different definition.
And I knew Jesus as a prophet, not as the savior and Lord. According to Islamic teaching, there are four heavenly books that came from God. Torah was descended from God to Moses, ‘Zaboor’ or the Psalms to David, ‘Engel’ or the Gospel to ‘Esa’ or Jesus, and lastly, Qoran to Mohammad. And there is only Qoran which is a reliable authority for Muslims. They believe that when Psalm came, the Torah was obsoleted. When the Gospel came, the Psalm obsoleted, and when Qoran came all three books were outdated and this is Qoran, the only perfect and rational book from God which is protected every day.
So that is why I wanted to seek what and how the other three books are, but there is not possible to find any of the three books which they claim were outdated. But How nice God is working among every nation and everywhere. It is just enough to ask God where you are and I want to know you. God is knocking on any door, and these are we who want to open the doors or not. God showed Himself many times but I did not understand.
Once when I was studying at the university in my origin country, I got a small book at a bookstore when I was buying books and I bought that book too. Its name is ‘Hope’. I read it many times but did not understand its message but it was very interesting and amazing despite it was not clear for me because anything was written in it was different from what we heard about God, about hope, about eternal life before in the Islamic teachings and people’s thought.
So finally God used the situation, and we (I and my husband) left our origin country and came to another country as refugees. So we found God, we knew Jesus Christ our savior and Lord. It is amazing we are saved, we have hope and our hope is in Christ for eternal life where there is no pain. And I am very glad that know God real who is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, and we are the children of God. And this is the Bible the real Speech/Word of God we access today and forever. From the day I have met Jesus, I have had amazing feelings, strength, and hope. It is very joyful. I did not have such a life before.
If you want to get change in your life, and to change yourself, and to get a peaceful life and a healthy mind, I am faithfully saying the only treatment is in hands of Jesus Christ. He is the greatest healer. And He will heal you and save you from every evilness, and He is ready to answer you, you just believe in Him and follow Him. Ask Him your questions. It is enough!
