What I Learned Today

by Ghazal A

Sometimes like these days I’m missing my family a lot. It has been 3 years that I couldn’t meet them talk to them or hug them. My father forbidden talking to me for all my family with me. And I just can talk to my sister and my mum with so many difficulties. Now it’s the Iranian New Year and families must be together. It’s so hard for me to not knowing anything from them and being alone in foreign country and as human body is weak sometimes I fell disappointed.  I just now watching the week 9 of The Gospel course and it made me think. The professor read that Matt 26:52. It’s about the time that Jesus was going to be killed. He knows what will be happen but when disciples try to cut the enemies ear Jesus said that Or do you think that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve A legion equaled 6,000 troops legions of angels? 54How then would the Scriptures be fulfilled, which say that it must happen this way?” it was really touched my heart and make me think that even Jesus had to suffer and experienced death and cross and etc. so I have to be strong and pray and have faith more and more. I have to look at the bright sight. For my chance of knowing God. Because now I’m gods children and he save me and he is with me all the time. So I got that mu human body is weak but I have to be strong with Holy Spirit.

This is what revealed today to me.

Hello Ghazal.
I can feel your pain reading your testimony.
It’s Good Friday here. We remember His ultimate sacrifice for our sins. There is no any Other god does that for the unrighteous! In this life, we partake some of His suffering willingly; “For if we have been United with Him in a death like His, we will certainly also be United with Him in a resurrection like His ( Rom 6:5).”
May His grace and unconditional love rest upon you as you put your hopes in Him.
